Juana Torralbo Higuera, M.A. is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Comparative Literature and Thought at the Washington University in St. Louis (USA). Her research interests include German Jewish culture and literature, transnational literature, and migration studies. Her dissertation project examines various depictions of Eastern European Jewish men in German-language literary texts published in the interwar period by writers of Jewish heritage raised in German-speaking Europe.
